Peggy and Doug will be celebrating Plates Neighborhood Kitchen’s one-year anniversary this Saturday, November 1st.

For twenty years, the owners of Plates lived and traveled the world, and were inspired by the food they encountered along the way: from apple tarts in France, Pecorino cheese in Tuscany, Weiss Wurst in Germany, Espada (scabbard fish) on the island of Madeira, to trips to the Far East, they learned new flavors and techniques to add to the outstanding food of the American South.
